In a push to impose one of the largest school impact fees in South Carolina — Anderson County School District One continues to tout inflated growth projections that are more than double what their own $33,520 Impact Fee Study can substantiate.
Anderson One's orchestrated disinformation campaign needs to be called out for what it is. "An additional 2,000 students in the next eight to ten years" certainly grabs your attention and "growth to pay for growth" has a nice ring to it but what Anderson One is not telling you is that the eye-popping numbers they have been touting on every local news channel and in every local newspaper contradict the conclusions of their own professional school impact study that has cost the taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars.
